Arizona's Stolen Heart

Arizona steals hearts in unimaginable ways. A drive throughout the state offers a surprisingly varying preview of several of America's greatest landscapes. The soft haze over Phoenix's rolling hills dotted with cacti is a serene prelude to the astonishing views of crevasses tearing through the red and orange rock of Grand Canyon National Park. Wonder flows over these same canyons in the form of liquid turquoise at Havasupai Falls while the sun rests for one moment longer just above the distant cityscape. It is here that one knows she is human, a part of it all. A part of the masterpiece. And once again, sweet Arizona has stolen another heart.
